For optimal outcomes, a thorough surface inspection should be conducted before applying TRMM. Dust, loose particles, oil spills, grease, moisture, cracks, excessive bitumen bleeding, and crevices should all be absent from the dry surface.
To achieve longer bonding properties, wire brush removal of any prior cold marking paint is required before applying TRMM. When compared to direct heating in a manual hot melt marking trolley, the use of a per-heter (boiler or melter) yields better results and a larger covering area.
Before application, crack and crevice repairs should be made. TRMM can be used with any kind of road marking application equipment, including automatic and hand-held vehicles.
To improve initial reflectivity, it should be made sure that the glass beads dispenser evenly distributes the necessary amount. The usage of hot-applied thermoplastic road markings is primarily due to the twin benefits of night visibility due to retro-reflectivity and longer life in comparison to conventional road marking points.
